Favourite Festive Films

I've never really seen anyone really taking about Christmas films so today I thought I would tell you my top 10 Christmas movies! (I'm so excited for this)

In no particular order:

1. ELF

I LOVE ELF. Enough said. I love Buddy, I love Will Ferrell and I love maple syrup. Everything to do with Elf is my favourite thing (apart from sweets on spaghetti - that's weird).
In all seriousness, Elf is one of the best films to get in the Christmas spirit. Anyone who tells you different is lying to their selves.

2. THE SANTA CLAUSE (1,2&3)

The Santa Clause is such a classic Christmas film. Everything good about the festive season is in this movie and it makes Christmas a whole lot better that there's three to watch!
Every year I watch this film and I've never once gotten bored. Usually, I can't watch find over and over but this one didn't get old. Give this a watch if you haven't already seen it (and if you love it just as much as me, you can watch the other two in the trilogy.)

3. HOME ALONE (1&2)

The Home Alone films are classics although I only like the first two. I find the last two are not the best they could've been (mainly because of the actor changing). Despite this, i still think these are some of the must-see films at Christmas. They are perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit and also make you realise what you take for granted.

4. FRED CLAUS

Fred Claus is a great family film which I love! It's one of them films which everyone has to see because it truly does make Christmas feel like Christmas. The story behind it is heart breaking but it makes this movie fantastic. If you seen it, go find it watch - you won't regret it!

5. DECK THE HALLS

Deck The Halls is such a comedy which will makes everyone laugh.I find it to be great for anyone who loves to laugh because it is a fantastic Christmas comedy. It's a family favourite - perfect for a cosy night.

6. A CHRISTMAS CAROL

A classic novel which many have to study in their school life. I've never been the biggest Dickens fan but this story and film is amazing. I love this version of the film rather than The Muppets version but they are both great. A Jim Carrey movie is always going to be great and this movie proves it!

7. DR SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS

Another Jim Carrey movie but who could blame me? This Dr Seuss film is one if a kind. 'The Cat In The Hat' was one of my favourite childhood movies/novels (mainly because it was on TV 90% of the time) and now this is one of my favourite Christmas films. It makes me laugh and cry and I love it. Every year this is the film everybody NEEDS to see.

8. ANNIE CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

This film is the one film that I get SO excited for every year. I just love it so much. I find this movie to be so uplifting and I think that it is one of my personal favourites. I want Christmas decorations like Annie Claus' though - her Christmas decorating skills are amazing!

9. JACK FROST
Jack Frost is a film which I first watched years ago and it is probably the one of most emotional Christmas movies I've seen. The whole story is mesmerising and something everybody should see. Every time I watch it, I cry. It so heart breaking and heart warming - it's truly magical.

10. THE HOLIDAY
The Holiday is such a  classic film which I feel like everyone had seen or should see. I'm a sucker for romantic films and when they have Christmas in them, I live then even more. This is a great movie for anyone who loves romance and Christmas (basically me).

Every single one of these movies is guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit; I'm sure of it.
