Personal Gift Ideas

Receiving a personal gift is one of the best things to open on Christmas morning so today, I'm going to share a few ideas on how to make your gifts personal.

LABELS

Putting festive labels on each individual gift you give with a little explanation on why you got that gift for someone is a great way to make gifts personal. All you need to do is buy (or make) Christmas labels and write a sweet message on it - it doesn't take long but the person recieving it will love the fact that you've thought about what to get them.

CARDS

I mentioned this in my Christmas Website Ideas post but I just wanted to mention it again because honestly, I love writing and receiving cards. Making an effort with cards is one of the nicest things because cards are one of things you keep from Christmas and look back in years to come.

THOUGHTFUL GIFTS

Getting a gift which is meaningful is a gift you're going to remember. There is nothing worse than getting a gift which you are never going to use. Think of all the interests of the person you are buying for and buy something along them lines. If the person likes candles, buy them a Christmas scented candle - it's easy. If you start getting your friends and family more thoughtful presents, they will (probably) put more thought into your presents as well. If you want better presents, you have to give better presents!

HOMEMADE GIFTS

If you don't have much money this Christmas, you could use glass jars and fill them up with that persons favourite snack. It's a great way to make a homemade gift which is super simple and cheap! If you don't want to give them food, you could put stationary in them and decorate the jar with multi-coloured Sharpies. Similarly, you could decorate a mug with Sharpies, then put it in the oven for 20 minutes - this would be a great idea for a tea or coffee lover! Homemade gifts really do make Christmas special because they show that you've put a lot of effort into the gift and it also shows that you care about the person.

I hope you get a few useful ideas from this post which make some of your Christmas shopping easier!

Favourite Festive Films

I've never really seen anyone really taking about Christmas films so today I thought I would tell you my top 10 Christmas movies! (I'm so excited for this)

In no particular order:

1. ELF

I LOVE ELF. Enough said. I love Buddy, I love Will Ferrell and I love maple syrup. Everything to do with Elf is my favourite thing (apart from sweets on spaghetti - that's weird).
In all seriousness, Elf is one of the best films to get in the Christmas spirit. Anyone who tells you different is lying to their selves.

2. THE SANTA CLAUSE (1,2&3)

The Santa Clause is such a classic Christmas film. Everything good about the festive season is in this movie and it makes Christmas a whole lot better that there's three to watch!
Every year I watch this film and I've never once gotten bored. Usually, I can't watch find over and over but this one didn't get old. Give this a watch if you haven't already seen it (and if you love it just as much as me, you can watch the other two in the trilogy.)

3. HOME ALONE (1&2)

The Home Alone films are classics although I only like the first two. I find the last two are not the best they could've been (mainly because of the actor changing). Despite this, i still think these are some of the must-see films at Christmas. They are perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit and also make you realise what you take for granted.

4. FRED CLAUS

Fred Claus is a great family film which I love! It's one of them films which everyone has to see because it truly does make Christmas feel like Christmas. The story behind it is heart breaking but it makes this movie fantastic. If you seen it, go find it watch - you won't regret it!

5. DECK THE HALLS

Deck The Halls is such a comedy which will makes everyone laugh.I find it to be great for anyone who loves to laugh because it is a fantastic Christmas comedy. It's a family favourite - perfect for a cosy night.

6. A CHRISTMAS CAROL

A classic novel which many have to study in their school life. I've never been the biggest Dickens fan but this story and film is amazing. I love this version of the film rather than The Muppets version but they are both great. A Jim Carrey movie is always going to be great and this movie proves it!

7. DR SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS

Another Jim Carrey movie but who could blame me? This Dr Seuss film is one if a kind. 'The Cat In The Hat' was one of my favourite childhood movies/novels (mainly because it was on TV 90% of the time) and now this is one of my favourite Christmas films. It makes me laugh and cry and I love it. Every year this is the film everybody NEEDS to see.

8. ANNIE CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

This film is the one film that I get SO excited for every year. I just love it so much. I find this movie to be so uplifting and I think that it is one of my personal favourites. I want Christmas decorations like Annie Claus' though - her Christmas decorating skills are amazing!

9. JACK FROST
Jack Frost is a film which I first watched years ago and it is probably the one of most emotional Christmas movies I've seen. The whole story is mesmerising and something everybody should see. Every time I watch it, I cry. It so heart breaking and heart warming - it's truly magical.

10. THE HOLIDAY
The Holiday is such a  classic film which I feel like everyone had seen or should see. I'm a sucker for romantic films and when they have Christmas in them, I live then even more. This is a great movie for anyone who loves romance and Christmas (basically me).

Every single one of these movies is guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit; I'm sure of it.

Christmas Website Ideas 2015

Lately, everyone has been doing Christmas gift guides but I wanted to do something slightly different. So I have decided to do a website ideas guide! I've decided to this because some gifts are hard to find or quite expensive - listing these websites gives you a wide variety of items so you can browse or buy!

RED BUBBLE
http://www.redbubble.com

This website has something for men, women and kids! If you want stickers to put on your laptop or wall art and phone cases - this website has everything for everyone!

LALALAB//POLAGRAM
http://www.lalalab.com

Polagram changed it's name but it is still amazing! I love ordering loads of the polaroid pictures and putting them in my scrapbook and on my walls. If you want something more special, you can get a photobook or something along those lines.

BEAUTY CROWD
http://www.beautycrowd.com

Beauty Crowd is an a great website if you are looking for make up which is hard to get in the UK. This website has loads of brands including Milani! Delivery can be expensive so keep checking back to see if they have free delivery weekend because that always makes a difference.

PREZZY BOX
http://www.prezzybox.com

Prezzy Box has gifts for everybody! It has many discounts on loads of items so you will probably find something. You can find so many great presents on this website so check it out if you're stuck for ideas!

FUNKY PIGEON
http://www.funkypigeon.com

Christmas cards are one of my favourite things to recieve during the festive season. There is somethig special about geting a card with a personalised message and it's even nice writing them. So why not send a personalised card? The person who recieves it will love the thought put into it and Funky Pigeon have a great selecetion to choose from! (Also, Birthday cards in Winter are usually rubbish so if you know someone who has a Birthday coming up, you might want to get them one from this site).

TICKETMASTER
http://www.ticketmaster.com

I LOVE going to concerts so why not get someone a pair of tickets for their favourtie artist? You don't have to get tickets for music though, TicketMaster has tickets for a varitey of shows. If you don't want to buy tickets for someone, you could always get a gift voucher for them to put towards tickets!

ASOS
http://www.asos.com

ASOS is a much loved website which has everything fashion. If you're looking for a some fashion items for a friend or family member, look no further! This website has loads of brands including River Island and New Look. Go check it out if you want great prices on great quality fashion staples!

And that's it! I may do a gift guide later this month but I just thought I would start with something a little different! I hope this gave you a few ideas for your Christmas shopping (and hopefully madness it easier!)

All Human

🗼🇫🇷🗼

We are all human. We are all one. We all have human rights and we all deserve equality. So why does this happen? Why do some humans believe that it is ok to hurt other humans? Why do we let this happen?

It is 2015. 2015. So many things have happened to this world to shape this life we live in. So many things have changed but nothing at all. Our lives are so different to our parents lives. Our morals are different and our society is different. We are different but we are going in circles. We are going round and round, fighting for the same things. Power. We all want power and we will do what it takes it get it. We will do anything even if it involves death.

What happened in Paris was no coincidence. It was a group of people who want power. And they have done everything to get power. They have caused terror and death. They have caused mass destruction. And that is exactly what they wanted.

None of us will know what they are thinking or what they are planning next. We won't know until it is too late, we will never be one step ahead. And I suppose that will never change.

All we need to do right now is stay safe. We need to make sure that we lose no one else because everyone in this world deserves the right to live a FULL life.

stay safe,

All In Good Time

I haven't been posting on here as much as I would've liked to. I wish I kept to my schedule but I didn't feel motivated. If you're not motivated then there is no point doing something you don't feel like doing. I know that sometimes, in life, you need to do the things you don't want to do but I haven't had inspiration (which is strange since it was Halloween).

I guess I'm just trying to say that you should do everything in your own time. Don't let anyone tell you what to do and don't do anything yoy don't feel good about doing. There is no point doing things you don't have to do because it will show in that thing and probably have a worse affect than not doing it at all.

Anyway, I will start posting again just in my own time. I do want to post Christmas related things so keep checking back for that:) but no promises...

August Favourites 2015

Hello everyone,

Firstly I would like to say that August has gone as quickly as it came. I honestly don't know where the time has gone but I do know that I have found a lot of new favourites this month.

BEAUTY:

1.            KIKO - Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick - 07 Golden Beige - £6.90 http://www.kikocosmetics.com/en- gb/make-up/eyes/eyeshadows/Long-Lasting-Stick-Eyeshadow/p-KM00306002

This eyeshadow stick has been perfect for summer evenings. It lasts all night and looks stunning on any eye colour. A must have for any make up bag!

2.            COLLECTION - Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencil - 03 Vintage Blush - £3.19
http://www.collectioncosmetics.co.uk/products/eyes/eyeshadows/work-colour-eyeshadow-pencil

As you can probably tell that I've been LOVING eyeshadow pencils as they are so easy to apply. This colour by Collection is gorgeous for something different from my usual gold.

3.            MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Mascara - £7.99
http://www.maybelline.co.uk/makeup/eye/mascara/Lash-Sensational.aspx origin=ProductCategorypage

This mascara is amazing. I wouldn't say it's the best mascara I have ever used but it is seriously good. It lengthens and separates my eyelashes perfectly and the packaging is gorgeous!

4.          RIMMEL - Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint - 01 Pop Of Pink - £4.99
http://uk.rimmellondon.com/products/face/stay-blushed

I have been constantly reaching for this throughout August. It is great for a tint on the cheeks and you can also use it on your lips for some subtle colour.

BOOK:

1.            ED SHEERAN AND PHILLIP BUTAH - A Visual Journey - £9.00
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ed-Sheeran-A-Visual-Journey/dp/1844037940

Ed Sheeran is my favourite person and this book was so good. It gave me an insight into his life before he became successful. Also, Phillip Burtah should get so much more recognition because his art is fantastic.

MUSIC:

1.            5 SECONDS OF SUMMER - She's Kinda Hot EP - Fly Away - Jet Black Heart
http://www.5sos.com

I love 5SOS and I am so excited for the album in October. The EP did not disappoint and I have had it on repeat for end part of August. The two tracks from the album ('Fly Away' and 'Jet Black Heart') make me so excited for the album, so hurry up October!

2.             HALSEY - BADLANDS
http://iamhalsey.com

Halsey's debut album is AMAZING. If you haven't heard it go and listen to it after you've finished reading.

3.            RIXTON - Hotel Ceiling

I have recently started listening to Rixton and this song is so good! They wrote it with Ed Sheeran and it was released in January but it is a great song and definitely worth a listen.

That's everything I've been loving in August! It's gone fast but it's been great. I hope you had a great summer (or winter if you live in the Southern Hemisphere) and it's only three months until Christmas! Yes, it probably is too soon to count down but who cares...

See you soon,
