The Body Shop Haul 2016

HAPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE,

Sorry this isn't a Halloween related post but  I recently placed a small order on The Body Shop website and decided to share what I got.

I love the new packaging as well. The black caps make the products look so good!

MORINGA EAU DE TOILETTE 30ml
£8.50

This is one of my favourite scents from The Body Shop. It's a gorgeous, fresh scent which anyone can wear. It's only a small bottle but it lasts a while as it doesn't need to be reapplied to often. I've found the larger bottles have a slightly weaker scent so I recommend the smaller size but I could've just made that up haha!

HONEYMANIA BUBBLE BATH MELT 300ml
£8.00

This creates loads of bubbles and makes your bathroom smell amazing. You only need a small amount to have a bath full of bubbles and it masked the water really nice. I love using this with a Lush bath bomb as well.

BLUEBERRY SHOWER GEL 250ml
£4.00

This smells divine! I love The Body Shop shower gels as they always smell so good and the scent lingers once it's been washed off. I love the blueberry scent and the formula of the shower gels is one of my favourites as well.

VINEYARD PEACH SHOWER GEL 250ml
£4.00

Again, the scent of this is amazing! The formula is the same as the blueberry one so I love it.

Thank you for reading, it means the world to me!

My Autumn Essentials 2016

Hi everyone,

Today, I'll be sharing my Autumn Essentials! I LOVE Autumn and the lead up to Christmas as it is my favourite holiday. So I thought I'd share some things I can't live without in Autumn. I'm not going to be showing my exact items I have but I will upload pictures of similar items. I'm also choosing from affordable brands so everyone can get them.

I live in my leather jacket all through the colder months. I love the edgy style and also how it can be worn with anything. It's amazing for the days where it's not raining but it's slightly colder than an average day. My favourite types of leather jackets are with different textures and loads of metal detailing.

Again, as soon as the weather becomes 1 degree cooler I get my ankle boots out and don't take them off until Spring. I've owned countless pairs over the years and my favourite are by fair, black leather with metal detailing (the same as my leather jacket). I also own suede boots with a leather detailing but they tend to get dirtier quicker and also not the best to wear when it's raining.

A thick, tartan scarf which I can wrap around me all day is perfect for this time of year. I love a long scarf which I can hang loosely around my neck when I'm out. They look amazing and double up as a blanket in the evening. Whichever way you use them, they are an effortless way to bring an outfit together as well as keeping you nice and cozy. This is the exact scarf I have:

So maybe I wear these all year round BUT they are amazing in Autumn and make everything better on an evening. If you wear these with a blanket over you, drinking a hot chocolate whilst watching a movie (a Christmas one in my case), you have the PERFECT night. You may have to look around for the best pair but once you've found them, you'll never want to take them off! I love these socks shown!

CINEMA DAYS

I adore going to the cinema, especially in Autumn. I love walking into a nice warm room and watching something I've been dying to see for months. There's nothing better than walking in to a room and it being light outside and then it being pitch Blake when you come outside. It's so cozy and seeing a great movie is a bonus. Cinemas can be expensive so you could buy a DVD (or Netflix) and put your feet up all at home for next to nothing. I recently watched Bridget Jones' Baby and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend it!

I hope you took some inspiration from this post,

Quick & Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hi,

Today, I'm going to be showing you my recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies! I've adapted a few recipes to make these and I love them! The ones I made today did burn but they still tasted so good!

-INGREDIENTS-

175g plain flour
75g caster sugar
75g light brown sugar
100g margarine or butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
100g chocolate chips

I've missed out baking powder because it made them grow so much that they stuck together. I would recommend adding no more than 1/2 tsp of it.

-METHOD-

1. Cream together the margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl with a wooden spoon.

2. Beat the the egg and vanilla extract in a measuring jug with a fork and gradually add the to creamed mixture.

3. Add the plain flour and chocolate chips into the bowl and mix well to form a cookie dough.

4. Use a tablespoon to measure the dough and form a ball. Flatten this on the baking tray.

5. Put in the oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes.

These are a bit too golden brown and they spread quite a lot but they are still delicious.

I hope you make these, let me know if you do!
